In most agencies, a supervisor has responsibilities for one or more students. This relationship is reflected in mTrial, as well. If a Supervisor Account exists, and is set to Active, then a student may be assigned to that supervisor. (Students are assigned to supervisors in the New Student and Modify Student windows described in Chapter 3).
The sections that follow describe how to properly manage Supervisor Accounts (Figure 6.1).
Figure 6.1 – Supervisors ModeThe sections below describe how to properly manage Supervisor Accounts.
While in Supervisors Mode, agency personnel can:
- Add new Supervisor Accounts
- Modify an existing Supervisor Account
- Set the status of any Supervisor account to either “Active” or “Inactive”.
- View a list of all the students assigned to a Supervisor
Just as in Student and Tutors mode, there is an “Active?” column. Each Supervisor Account may be set to either Active (
), or Inactive (
). If a Supervisor Account is set to Inactive, Student Accounts may not be assigned to that Supervisor.
