Student Accounts are a fundamental part of mTrial. The student account determines how data belongs to when it is being recorded, so each Student Account name (Student ID) must be unique.
The sections below describe how to properly manage Student Accounts.
Figure 4.1 – Students ModeWhile in Students mode, agency personnel can:
- Add new Student Accounts
- Modify an existing Student Account
- Set the status of any Student Account to either “Active” or “Inactive”
- Assign individual Curriculum Area, Target, and Sd to appear (or not to appear) on a Palm handheld
- Assign specific Tutor Accounts to any individual student
- Add a Supervisor Note on the PC, to be read by the tutors using the Palm handheld
The first thing you may notice is the “Active?” column. Each Student Account may be set to either Active (
), or Inactive (
).
The second column lists the Student IDs for the Student Account. The third column displays the students’ names. The fourth column displays the name of the supervisor assigned to the student. The fifth column indicates whether the Student Account is registered. Student Accounts that are registered display a green dot (
), and Student Accounts that are unregistered display a red dot (
). Click here for more information on registered and unregistered student accounts.
