Registered and Unregistered Versions of mTrial
A registered student account can save as many sessions as the physical memory of the Palm handheld will allow. An unregistered student account can store a maximum of 10 sessions.
In an unregistered student account, you can see how many sessions are being stored by looking between the Start a Session and the End Visit buttons at the bottom of the screen. In Figure 12.14, there are “0 of 10” sessions being stored.
Figure 12.14 – mTrial Setup Screen With Zero Sessions StoredIf zero sessions are being stored in an unregistered version, and you tap Start a Session you will see the warning message shown in Figure 12.15. The warning has no effect other than to inform the user that the current student account is unregistered and that there is a limit to the number of sessions that can be stored in an unregistered student account.
Figure 12.15 – Unregistered Program Warning Message With 0 Sessions StoredIf the user taps OK, the Unregistered Program warning message closes and the user proceeds to the mTrial Recorder screen as normal. This message will also appear when the user starts a session while storing the seventh, eighth, ninth, and tenth sessions in an unregistered version.
