Having the correct time and date set on the Palm handheld is important for the agency’s recordkeeping. mTrial records the date and time for visits, sessions, and behaviors.

The time and date recorded for these events is stored in the database that the PC uses when generating reports. So, if the time and date is accurately set on the Palm handheld, the reports that the agency generates will be more accurate and more useful.

To set the correct time and date on the Palm handheld, follow these steps:

Step 1

At the Begin Visit screen in mTrial, look to see if the date and time in the top right corner is correct; if it isn’t, use your stylus to tap the time and date to be able to change it.
