One of the most useful features of mTrial is the ability to quickly generate reports that provide valuable information and help agency personnel understand a student’s strengths and progress.

In Reports Mode (Figure 7.1), there are nine types of reports available:

Each of these is explained in detail in the following sections.

At the top of each of the reports listed above, in the tool bar (Figure 7.2), there are four buttons that make it easy to save and distribute the reports.

If the report is more than one page, click the up or down arrows to change pages. You may also use the Page Up and Page Down buttons on your keyboard.

Click PDF to save the report in a PDF-formatted file. Click RTF to save the report in a Rich Text Format (RTF) file; this format can be opened by MS Word and Word Perfect. And click XLS to save the report in a file that can be opened later by Microsoft Excel.

You’ll be asked to provide a name and location for the file you create.

Click E-Mail PDF to create a new e-mail message, with the report as a PDF attachment. If you build a report for a single student (Session Data or Mastery report) and the student has an e-mail address in the student account, the e-mail address will be automatically supplied in the To: field of the e-mail message.
