The screen titled mTrial Setup is where you choose what content will be used in sessions with the student. The mTrial Setup screen and the mTrial Recorder screen (see Chapter 13) are the two screens that you will use most frequently.

Figure 12.1 below shows the mTrial Setup screen as you initially see it, after arriving here from the Begin Visit screen.

Before starting a session you must choose: a session type, a Curriculum Area (CA), an Sd, and up to three Acquisition Targets (AT). Until and unless all of these choices are made, you cannot start a session. Each of these options is explained in the sections that follow.
