mTrial is designed to work using any of the different time and date formats available on the Palm handheld.

To set the formats for the time and/or the date displays on the Palm handheld, follow these steps:

Step 1

Go to Application Launcher screen.

Tap the Prefs icon to open the Preferences screen.

Step 2

There are several types of Preferences. Don’t worry if this isn’t the particular Preferences screen you see.

From the menu in the top right corner, choose Formats.

To choose preset formats for a specific country, tap the country name to the right of Preset to: and refer to Step 4.

To set the time format, tap the triangle to the right of Time: and refer to Step 5.

To set the date format, tap the triangle to the right of Date: and refer to Step 6.

Step 4

If you want to use formats different from those used in the United States, choose a country from the Preset to: menu. For illustration purposes, choose United Kingdom (Figure 18.16).

In Figure 18.15, notice that the date and time formats are preset to display the time in 24-hour format and to display the date in D/M/Y format. You can use these time and date formats, you can choose formats from another country, or you can change the time and/or the date formats individually.

Step 5

Tap the triangle to the right of Time: to open the menu that lists the time formats available to you (Figure 18.23).

As an example, set the time format to HH.MM to display the time in 24-hour format, using a period instead of a colon (Figure 18.19).

Step 6

Tap the triangle to the right of Date: to open the menu that lists the date formats available to you (Figure 18.20).

As an example, set the date format to Y/M/D to display the date as 03/9/15 (Figure 18.21).
