After choosing a Curriculum Area, choose an item from the AT menu.

Figure 12.7 shows the AT screen; Figure 12.8 shows the Acquisition Target (Doll) highlighted in the list. To make it easier to find a Target in a long list, write the first few letters of the name of the Target into the Lookup field.

After selecting an Acquisition Target, you may optionally select a second and third Acquisition Target for the session. Figure 12.9 shows the second AT menu open, with an item selected. Notice that the Acquisition Target selected for the first AT (Doll) is not present in the second menu. Figure 12.10 shows the second AT selected.

Mastered Items Feedback

A list of the student’s mastered items is maintained on the Palm handheld. Every time you open the Select Acquisition Target screen, the mastered items are preceded by a ~ (Figure 12.11).

If you open the menu at the top of the screen (Figure 12.12) you can choose to see only those targets that are mastered, only those items that have not been mastered, or both.

For a list of all the mastered items for this student, choose Mastered... from the Options menu. A list of mastered items is maintained for only those students whose accounts are registered.

There is also a Random button that will randomly select an item from the list.
