Ideally, each Palm handheld should be dedicated to running only mTrial. Installing and running programs other than mTrial will use available memory, and (depending on the program that is installed, but especially games) may make the Palm prone to crashing.

Mobile Thinking strongly recommends that agencies set a policy that does not allow the installation of other applications on a Student’s Palm handheld. Every Palm handheld has a small set of programs that are built in.

To see what other applications are installed and how much memory is available, follow these steps:

Go to Application Launcher screen.

Open the App menu by tapping the time display (shown here as 8:19 pm).
