Click Add... at the bottom left corner of the Students screen to open a window titled Add New Curriculum Area (Figure 2.3).

Type a unique name for the new Curriculum Area in the text field at the top of the window. For illustration purposes, name the new Curriculum Area, “Instruments.”

Use the pull down menu to assign a percent for the Mastery Level for the Curriculum Area. The percent correct for the Acquisition Target must be greater than or equal to the number assigned to the Mastery Level to be able to demonstrate Mass Trial or Random Rotation Mastery.

Below the New Curriculum Area text field, the screen is divided into two columns: the left half is dedicated to Target Items, and the right half is dedicated to Sd items. Use New, Delete, and Rename to manage Target Items and to manage Sd items.

After you add the new Curriculum Area, you'll see a window that allows you to choose which student accounts to assign to it.
