If one or more students are assigned to a supervisor, and the status of the supervisor is set from Active to Inactive, all of the students assigned to the supervisor will lose their supervisor assignment.

For example, in Figure 6.4 you can see that two students are assigned to the supervisor named Dennis Forsberg.

When the status of Dennis Forsberg is set from Active to Inactive, you’ll see a warning (Figure 6.5), that all of the students that were assigned to Dennis Forsberg will become unassigned (Figure 7.6).

Students may be reassigned to new supervisors using the Modify Student window.
